I just finished The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I loved it! I like epistolary books anyway, and this was post-war British, which I also like, and, to top it off, it was partially about reading, so all around I enjoyed it a great deal.
It brought to mind both the Maisie Dobbs books by Jacqueline Winspear (the post-war part) and the book 84, Charing Cross Road (which is both epistolary AND all about books.)
It was the best kind of book: I laughed AND choked up.
